What MPG a FoST reallys gets

With an average of 21.3mpg over just about 12k miles. I don’t know how people get 26mpg average I can’t get 24mpg on the highway, my record high is 28mpg for a 2 gallon fill up.

does your screen read out say the same? ive never bothered to calculate it. im strongly 23.5 in winter and 24.5 summer 95% city

Same in my S3, Rated for 26 average. I get 21 at best. However, I have never owned a turbo charged car that got close to the EPA rating on mileage.

I had an 04 STi that got worse mileage than my E90 M3!

In fairness the M3 wasn’t AWD, and wasn’t using Subaru’s time-tested agricultural engine technology.

I usually got about 23 on average in mine, with plenty of spirited acceleration and at high altitude (boost all the time, yo)

Hear the same complaint in the FiST community and I average greater than 30 in my all city commute (for comparison my old Mazda6 wagon got less than 16 on the exact same route).

They don’t understand how people can get EPA, I don’t understand how they can’t.

It’s a mystery up there with where socks go.

In my FoST I get 28-29 highway and 24 city. 40k miles on it so far. I don’t drive like a grandma or a maniac. Get up to speed quickly on the onrampand cruise. 70-75 cruising speed depending on speed limits and such.

Yep, 3.0 Duratec mated to a 5MT. Had it for 10 years. Good car.
